SKN PULSE,  Thursday 15, December 2016 – The second night of the Leeward Island basketball Championship has concluded, and St. Kitts has recorded a win over Barbuda who lost their second straight game. 

Team St. Kitts ended the first quarter with a 16-7 advantage and built on a lead in the second quarter and maintained the the at the end of the third quarter. 
True to form, team St. Kitts finished the game with consistency as they scored 16 points through three quarters and 17 points in the fourth quarter. 

Barbuda wasn’t able to go a run to post a serious challenge as they scored the least among the two teams in three quarters and tied with the St. Kitts team in the third quarter. St. Kitts led by 9 and 13 and in the final quarter out scored Barbuda by 7 to win by 20.

The Final Scoreline: St. Kitts: 65 – Barbuda: 45

Graeme Browne and Nashorn Maynard both finished with 14 points while Taslyn Hodge and Javal Hoge dished out 5 and 4 assists respectively. 

Nashorn Maynard was also among the rebounds as he collected 12rebs, Troy Wattley contributed with 9rebs. 

St. Kitts will face the British Virgin Islands on Thursday night.
