Police officer Brent Edwards was arrested and charged for the offence of failing to
immediately stop at the scene of an accident.
The offence was committed on July 15th, 2023 in the New River, Nevis. Edwards was charged charged two days later, (July 17th, 2023) at the Cotton Ground Police Station.
He has been remanded to prison while the investigation continues.
Edwards was also issued with a notice of intended prosecution for the offence of Dangerous Driving.
