Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hazel Laws announced today that 1 COVID-19 patient has fully recovered. The patient status was cleared after receiving two consecutive negative test results.
It is the first recovery since St. Kitts and Nevis recorded its first case late last month. No specifics about the patient’s residence status, age or gender was provided.
With the recovery, this brings the total number of isolated cases in the Federation to 14.
To date, 257 persons have been tested, (15 positive tests, 230 negative tests).
One person is quarantined at a Government facility while 64 persons are quarantined at home. So far, 628 persons have been released from quarantine.
12 cases are currently pending.
No deaths have been recorded.
