Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 18, 2018 – An alarming and troubling report Thursday morning of a severe beating administered by members of the RSS and local police on Wednesday afternoon.

A Pond’s Pasture, New Town resident, identified as Eric “Juni” Thompson was beaten by a squad of RSS sand local police resulting in injuries including at least three broken ribs and swelling to other parts of the body.

According to a family source, the team of RSS and local law enforcement officers knocked on the door of the residence.

As soon as the door was opened, Thompson was ordered to give his three or four-month old baby that he was holding in his hand to his girlfriend.

“As soon as the baby was handed over, the officers set upon him and beat him to the ground,” the source said.

It is said the house was searched but nothing taken.

The source said no search warrant was shown or read before the officers entered the house.

However on leaving, a piece of paper was placed in the face of Thompson.
