Charlestown, Nevis (SKN PULSE) – The Nevis Reformation Party laid out its plans for the residents of Gingerland last night at Poor Man’s Bar, Rawlins. Candidate after candidate endorsed the young and vibrant, Cory Tyson, NRP’s representative for constituency #3 – Gingerland. His vision encompasses transforming the St. George’s District into the envy of Nevis.
Placing a statue of folklore musical icon, David ‘De Maestro’ Freeman at the junction of Market Shop is just one of the many proposals put forth by the care-taker for the Nevis Reformation Party in Gingerland, Mr. Cory Tyson.
Tyson remarked, “I had a brilliant idea given to me today: I am proposing that right in that new junction at Market shop, we will put a full statue of David ‘De Maestro’ Freeman with his fife”.
According to the NRP representative, Freeman should be placed at the entrance of Rawlins. Tyson’s idea was given full approval by the persons in attendance. One Rawlins villager said, “arbe going do one up ya when you done”.
David ‘De Maestro’ Freeman is an accomplished fifer who led the charge with his then Honeybees String Band. The folklore musician is a well respected elder in the Gingerland District and a Nevisian legend in his own right.
