Kian Debuts; Thomas Scores Half Century

Nevisian and West Indies youth Cricketer Kian Pemberton, made his debut for the senior Leewards team yesterday, (Thursday 28th February) versus the Jamaica Scorpions in Jamaica.

The young cricketer was lbw to Nikita Miller for a duck after facing 4 deliveries. So far, he has bowled 2 overs for 20 runs without success.
The Leeward Islands Hurricanes in their first innings were bowled out for just 210. Antiguan Devon Thomas top scored with 65, his third consecutive half century in two games while Jahmar Hamilton scored 43.

Nikita Miller bagged 7 for 50 for the Jamaicans.

At the end of Day 1, Jamaica were 77 for 2. Brandon King on 35 and Jermaine Blackwood on 31 were the not out batsmen.
