One of the major activities expected in 2018 is the development of an overarching curriculum and assessment framework to ensure that the curriculum is producing the types of learners with the kind of competencies they need for success in the 21st Century as well as to determine whether how we assess our students in relevant and enhances their ability to excel.
Additionally, Dr Hendrickson said the Ministry expects to see the better integration of technology in the classroom; support management and also teaching and learning. The ministry recently launched a web-based Student Information System (OPENSYS) to be able to collect day to day, real time data on student enrolment, grades and other activities.
