Duan Webbe scores 103 as Nevis reach 316/9 against St. Maarten

Nevis is in the ascendancy against St. Maarten as they battle for bragging rights at the Elquemedo T. Willett Park.

The match began yesterday, Thursday 23rs February, 2023.

Winning the toss and electing to bat, Nevis posted 316/9 before declaring. Nevis made two changes to their side, Tyger Browne replaced Anderson Amurdan and Nelson Bolan replaced the injured Adelvin Phillip.

Opening batsman, Duan Webbe scored a classy century, 103, the first Nevisian batsman to do such in this year’s tournament.

Carlon Bowen-Tuckett scored his second consecutive half century of the tournament with 71 and skipperColin Archibald chipped in with 51, his first half century of the tournament.

At the close of play, St. Maarten had lost one wicket with 11 runs on the board.

Nelson Boland picked up the lone wicket for Nevis.
