St. Kitts and Nevis, (SKNP) – The final round of the CONCACAF u-20 championship tournament has started. With eight teams vying for a spot, there isn’t anything stopping the Sugar Boyz from advancing even though they aren’t off to a terrific start.
They squared off with Bermuda in a Group A encounter at the Stadion Ergilio Hato, Willemstad, Curaçao.
The team lost to Bermuda 3 goals to 1. According to the Bermuda Football Association, Tevahn Tyrell scored two goals for Bermuda and Knory Scott added the third.
St. Kitts have been placed in Group A and will face Antigua and Barbuda on October 23 at 6:00 (pm) and close out the group stage on October 25 against hosts Curaçao.
The group winners and runners up will remain in Curacao to play in the Caribbean Football Union U20 semi-finals and final. Five teams from the Caribbean will advance to the CONCACAF U20 Championships in Costa Rica in March 2017.
