Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 17, 2017, (RSCNPF): The Police are investigating the shooting death of 19-year-old Cleon Browne. He was originally from Rawlins Pasture, Newcastle, but resided at Rawlins Village, Gingerland.
At about 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2018 the Gingerland Police Station received a report of a shooting incident. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found Browne along the roadside in Rawlins Village with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to the Alexandra Hospital and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Technician and a number of spent shells were taken into police custody.
The Police is committed to continuing to reduce crime in the Federation and solving crime when they occur. However, in order to be successful, as much information as possible is needed to assist with arresting and charging perpetrators of crime.
