Two Customs Officers arrested for importation of illegal firearm(s)

Basseterre, St. Kitts – Two officers of the Customs and Excise Department were arrested earlier today, (Monday 8) for gun smuggling.

According to our source, a customs officer and a STEP worker, who is employed with customs are allegedly accused of importing a firearm into the country.

An official release from the Police Public Press Relations Unit hasn’t been forthcoming.
