Dr. Timothy Harris led Team Unity coalition has won the right to govern the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis for another five years after a convincing win at the polls.
Winning the popular vote and gaining additional seats, Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris and his Coalition Partners, (Peoples Action Movement and the Concerned Citizens Movement) are overjoyed at their victory.
While the final result came in 24hrs after the polls closed, supporters were already in full celebratory mode.
Nine constituencies were declared for Team Unity. The Peoples Action Movement secured 4 seats, the Concerned Citizens Movement – 3 and the Peoples Labour Party – 2. Two constituencies were declared for the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party.
The winners are as follows:
Jonel Powell (2) Akilah Byron Nisbett (3), Lindsay Grant (4), Shawn Richards (5), Timothy Harris (7), Eugene Hamilton (8), Mark Brantley (9) Eric Evelyn (10) Alexis Jeffers (11).
The St. Kitts and Nevis Labour were successful in only 2 constituencies. Leader, Dr. Hon. Denzil Douglas regained consitutency 6 and newcomer Geoffrey Hanley won in constituency 1.
