Basseterre, St. Kitts – Early this morning (Tuesday 5 May), a discovery was made that a robbery occurred at the Island Purified Water outlet on Fort Thomas Road and Westbourne Ghaut.
While details are sketchy, police were summoned to the scene where investigations are ongoing.
A statement from the Police Public Relations Unit regarding the incident is yet to be disseminated at press time.
However, according to a news item from Freedom FM, thieves reportedly took a vault containing cash, cell phones, microwave, a cash register, and other items.
This is the third reported robbery in three days and the second reported robbery of a business institution. The previous two robberies occurred on Friday 5 May.
