Police on Nevis are investigating the armed robbery and shooting of a former calypso king in Nevis Friday night.
According to reliable sources Carlisle Pemberton, better known as King Binghi was attacked, robbed and shot as he arrived at his home around 9:30 p.m.
Reports are that Pemberton reportedly suffered a gunshot wound and underwent emergency surgery at the Alexander Hospital in Charlestown on Friday night.
Up to press time, a statement hadn’t been release by the Police.
