Winning Candidates of the Concerned Citizens Movement

The three-party coalition Team Unity of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM), the People’s Action Movement (PAM), and the People’s Labour Party (PLP) have been declared the winner of the June 5 general election.

Saturday morning (June 6) counting continued for Constituency #1 and Constituency #8

The CCCM made history on Nevis with Mr. Mark Brantley winning with a total of 1,689 votes, 534 votes more than Dr. Daly who got 1,155 votes.

Mr. Eric Evelyn won with a total of 710 votes, 543 more than Mr. Hanley who got 167 votes.

Mr. Alexis Jeffers won with a total of 1,107 votes, 197 votes more than Mr. Nisbett who got 910 votes.

Mr.Brantley in a post on his Facebook page said ” CCM has done something unprecedented in the history of Nevis. We have won all three Federal seats in Nevis taking constituency number 11 after 20 long years. We have also increased our margins in each and every constituency including winning Number 9 for the very first time by winning both St. Paul’s and St John’s by a whopping overall margin of 534 votes.”

Akila Byron Nisbett defeated Konris Maynard in Constituency #3

Dr. Timothy Harris remained undefeated in Constituency #7

Shawn Richards, undefeated in Constituency 5.

Lindsay Grant, undefeated in Constituency #4

SKNLP’s Dr. Denzil Douglas defeated Kevin Williams in Constituency #6

Results for Constituency# 1 and Constituency #8 are still outstanding.
