Team Nevis, Inter-Island Primary Athletic Champions
Nevis emerged victorious at the 2026 Inter-Island Primary Athletic Championships, on Sunday 3rd May, 2026 securing 19 gold, 14 silver and 10 bronze medals.

The meet which was keenly contested brought together the Federation’s top junior athletes competing across the Under 7 to Under 13 categories.

Among the standout performers were Roné Isles of Team Nevis and Calvert Gift of Team St Kitts.
Roné Isles – Class Champion and Victrix Ludorum
Isles copped Victrix Ludorum following an extraordinary showing. Isles captured three individual gold medals in the Girls Under-13 400m, 800m and the Girls Open 1200m. Roné was also a member of Team Nevis Under-13 4x100m and Girls Open 4x400m relay teams that won gold.

Calvert Gift – Class Champion & Victor Ludorum
Calvert Gift of Team St Kitts won all his races in the Under 11 category, winning the 100m, 200m and the 300m.

Young Gift was also a member of Team St Kitts U11 Boys 4X100m relay team that clocked 5️⃣4️⃣.9️⃣8️⃣s to win Gold.
The event brought together the Federation’s top young athletes, highlighting the strength and depth of primary school athletics in both St. Kitts and Nevis.
Minister of Education and Youth in the NIA, the Honourable Senator Troy Liburd, was among those who praised the athletes’ achievements.
On Sunday we celebrated not just a victory, but the power of teamwork, perseverance, and national pride. On behalf of the Administration, Ministry and the Department of Education, I extend heartfelt congratulations to Team Nevis on their outstanding victory at the St. Kitts and Nevis Inter-Island Primary Athletics Championship.
