SKN students named to UVI Dean’s List

Fifteen students from St. Kitts and Nevis have been named to the dean’s list at the University of the Virgin Islands in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement on Sunday, March 5 2023 at the Eldridge W. Blake Sports and Fitness Center, Orville E. Kean Campus in St.Thomas.

To be eligible, a student must undertake a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade-point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.

The awardees include 10 females and five males. They are Catherine Seabrookes, Dhakiya Liburd, Brandon Chambers, Sheldon Richards, Jackiema Flemming, Ackeem Alexander, Zidane Byron, Shana Taylor, Serita Somersalle, Maliqua Kamau, Joleen Buchanan, Jovany Pemberton, Jaychrislie Boon, Tamia Grant and Xiaoyu Harris.

The University was unable to host in person ceremonies during the COVID-19 period. However, during the 2023 ceremony, awards were presented to students who made the Dean’s List from Fall 2019 through to Fall 2022.
