On August 11th, 2023, the Anti-Gang Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Good Life Supermarket in Saddler’s, St. Kitts.
Preliminary investigations indicate that between 2PM and 3PM, two (2) masked and armed assailants entered the aforementioned establishment. The business owner was assaulted at gunpoint and pushed to the floor while both assailants stole a sum of money from the cash register. The duo also stole a shelved item before making their escape via the front door.
The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit and items of evidential value were collected. An investigation into the matter is ongoing and the general public will be kept appropriately informed as it progresses. The public’s cooperation is essential to the pursuit of justice. As such, anyone with information vital to this investigation is strongly encouraged to contact the nearest Police station.
