The National Security apparatus of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is currently undergoing a multi-agency manpower upgrade. This is being done by way of Polygraph testing.

Having begun on November 6th, 2023, testing started with the highest ranked officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF); the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF); His Majesty’s Prison; and the Immigration Department. It is being administered by officials from the Regional Security System (RSS) and will continue through to November 9th, 2023.

Already a long-established global standard, Polygraph testing is set to become a part of the internal administrative and management structures within the nation’s law enforcement and national security agencies in the near future. Such an addition will function to ensure the Federation’s national security agencies are properly staffed and suitably structured to best serve the people’s needs and interests.
