Police Launch Attempted Murder Probe After Man Shot In Buckley’s

The authorities on St Kitts are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Buckley’s area, St. Kitts, between 12 AM and 12:30 AM on April 14th, 2026. The victim has been identified as Jovan Hodge, age twenty-eight (28), of Buckley’s Estate.

According to the RSCNPF, preliminary investigations indicate that Hodge was in the vicinity of his residence when he was accosted and pursued by one or more armed assailants. Hodge sustained gunshot wounds to the chest, back, right arm, and left foot. He   was trasported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where he received medical treatment. Hodge is currently warded in stable condition.

The crime scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit of the RSCNPF, and some items of evidential value were collected.

Investigations are ongoing and further updates will be appropriately provided as they become available.

The RSCNPF is appealing to anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to contact the nearest police station or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 707.
