Oualie Beach hotel owner shot and injured during armed robbery in Nevis

Charlestown, Nevis, November 8, 2018 – According to confirmed reports, John Yearwood, one of the owners of Oualie Beach Hotel in Nevis, was shot and injured during an armed robbery early Thursday morning.

According to multiple sources two masked and armed men entered the Jones Estate home while the occupants were asleep.

Sources say the intruders were confronted and Yearwood was shot in the leg while he wrestled with one of the intruders.

According to a source, the possibility exists that one of the intruders was also shot and injured.
