Nevisian youths have sought to stamp their authority early in the ongoing CWI Regional U17 tournament.
Superb bowling figures by Jaden Carmichael and Akadianto Willett through two games have the Leeward Islands in third position in latest standings, (4.7 points).
Against Trinidad, the duo finished with four wickets each in a nail biter yesterday which their team lost by six runs, (Willett – 4/9; Carmichael – 4/18)
Trinidad were bowled out for 91.
Chasing 92 for victory, Leewards were bowled out for 85. Carlon Bowen-Tuckett was the only bright spark in the Leewards innings. He scored 27.
Previously against Jamaica, Carmichael finished with figures of 6 for 17 taking his wicket tally to 10 while fellow countryman and team-mate Willett has a wicket tally of 7.
