SKNP, Sunday 6 November 2016 – Success requires hardwork and hard work requires discipline. That’s the philosophy of Head Cross Country Coach, Shirvon Greene.
Having won back to back Championships, (2014, 2015) Monroe College participated in the Region XV Championships hosted by the Ulster Community College at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome in Milton, New York on the 5 November.
A confident Mustangs team, came out victorious. Both Men and Women Cross Country teams won their third consecutive Region XV Championships. A feat that has never occurred in Mustangs history until present: back to back to back.
The humble Greene in speaking with SKN PULSE emphasized that it’s always good to win but it’s even better to improve every time you win. According to Greene, with proper training in place, execution on any given day will yield results barring injury.
