18th Murder Recorded in St. Kitts: A man was fatally shot in the early-morning hours on Tuesday in Osbourne Street, Cayon.
According to reports, gun shots rang out sometime after 1:30 am. Officers responded to a call, and on arrival to the scene they found a victim lying on the ground with gunshot wound(s).
The victim, Garvey Rogers of Pollard, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female was also grazed on her right thigh while standing at a restaurant on the Main Road in Cayon.
According to police, she was treated at the Joseph N. France General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department and is reported as being in stable condition.
RSCNPF has not released a motive for the shooting.
This is an ongoing investigation.
