BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — Leranja Wilkinson secured the 2026 Elvis Star Browne Women’s League Golden Boot in spectacular fashion on Thursday, scoring all 11 goals for MFCR Old Road United Lady Jets in their final regular-season match.

Wilkinson entered the fixture with 19 goals, trailing league-leading scorer Christi-Anne Mills of Honda Newtown United by 10 goals. Mills had 29 goals heading into the final round of regular-season matches.

With the Golden Boot within reach, Old Road United Lady Jets set out with a clear objective—to create as many scoring opportunities as possible for Wilkinson.

She delivered in emphatic fashion.

Wilkinson found the back of the net 11 times as Old Road United Lady Jets defeated Hector and Associates Hotspring Bath United 11-0 at the National Bank Group Technical Center.

The extraordinary performance took Wilkinson’s season tally to 30 goals, surpassing Mills’ 29 and making her the 2026 Elvis Star Browne Women’s League Golden Boot winner.

Reflecting on the achievement, Wilkinson said the Old Road Lady Jets entered the match determined to finish the regular season on a positive note despite the challenges faced throughout the campaign.

“Well, I can say that we’ve come with a mission today to at least show that Old Road United can go out and score goals and do our best despite what we are going through right now. So, we have to complete something at least,” she said. “It’s been a rough season for us, but yeah, it’s a good feeling. Every game we talk to each other… We go and try to keep it together for the club at least.”

Old Road United Lady Jets finished third in the regular-season standings and will now shift their focus to the semi-finals.

They will face defending champions Mapau Cayon Rockettes on Sunday, August 23, at 4 p.m. at the National Bank Group Technical Center.

The second semi-final will kick off at 6 p.m., featuring Honda Newtown United against S L Horsford St. Paul’s United Sparks. Admission to both semi-final matches is free.
