Krystal Liburd wins 2018 NJCAA Women’s National Athlete of the Year Award

SKN PULSE – Young Kittitian, Krystal Liburd was presented with the 2018 NJCAA Women’s Indoor National Athlete of the Year Award.

A freshman at New Mexico Junior College, Liburd contributed 18 team points to her team at the recently held NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Krystal stamped her authority in the long jump with a leap of 6.21m securing the title while placing second in the triple jump at 12.46m. As a result, she earned her season-best marks in the long jump and triple jump; ranking second and third, respectively, on the NJCAA Descending Order List while her long jump mark also sits tied for 24th on the All-College Descending Order List. http://bit.ly/2G516Fc

The Women’s Athlete of the year award was voted on by USTFCCCA member coaches based on her performances throughout the entire regular season.
