Hon. Shawn Richards has crowned a new Carnival Swimwear queen after an intense night of competition.

Kersha Martin sponsored by Mitcham & Benjamin Barristers At Law walked away with the title of Miss National Carnival Swimwear 2018 after winning the Creative Environmental Swimwear Segment. Kersha was presented with the Chairperson’s Award.
Edging out Brianda Harvey, (sponsored by Royal St. Kitts Hotel) by just .5 points, Martin seemed very humbled in victory. Martin scored 1057.5 points while Harvey scored 1057 points.
Harvey copped the 1st Runner-up spot, she was adjudged the winner of the Creative National Pride Swimwear Segment and the On Stage Interview.
She was followed by Saskia Evans, (St. Kitts and Nevis Development Bank) who emerged as the 2nd Runner-up with 1045 points. She won the Identical Swimwear Segment and Glitz & Glam Swimwear Segment. Evans was presented with the Most Popular Social Media Contestant award as well as the Ms. Photogenic award.
Sheneka Henry won the Ms. Amity award.
