Four nationals from Nevis, three males and one female are missing at sea at the moment.
This was confirmed by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cromwell Henry.
According to Henry, the Coast Guard indicated that they received information of a missing vessel that was returning from Anguilla Poker Run which encountered difficulty at sea.
The Statia Coast Guard conducted a search and found an overturned vessel. None of the occupants were found.
According to Henry, the Coast Guard will join the search and rescue efforts at first light in the morning.
The names of the occupants are unknown at the moment.
