St. Kitts and Nevis will be represented at the XVIII Pan American Games which commence tomorrow, Friday 26 in host city, Lima, Peru.
Team St. Kitts and Nevis will feature four athletes, all of whom will compete in track and field.
The athletes are Shenel Crooke (100m), Jermaine Francis (high jump), Jason Rogers (100m) and Reanda Richards (400m hurdles).
The three, (3) member team of officials is led by Chef de Mission, Lester Hanley and includes Lonzo Wilkinson, who will serve as Athletics Head Coach.
Dr. Dwain Archibald has been appointed the Team’s Medical Doctor.
St. Kitts and Nevis first competed in the Pan American Games back in 1995 and has been represented at the Games ever since. They have yielded three medals since participating – two in 2011 and one in 2015.
Kim Collins won silver in the 100m in 2011 and the national relay team also copped silver that very same year.
The Games Opening Ceremony will be held on Friday 26th July and the closing Ceremony on Sunday August 11th, 2019.
