SKN PULSE – Music lovers were treated to a creative mix-off as DJs vied for the coveted popular Dj Title. Held at the famous JamRock in Frigate Bay, the pre St. Kitts Music Festival event drew a sizeable crowd.
Selector after selector belted crowd favourites as they showed their creativity while connecting with the audience. Through three rounds, two judged rounds and an open round, djays blasted hits from the past, new jams and local hits as the appreciative crowd rocked to the soothing sounds.
The Djays that participated were Madrass Sound, Selecta Deen, DJ Tero, Xtortion Sounds, Akaii U Sweet, Selector Purple, Fitzroy Richards, Up Move Sounds, Bigtz Supreme Sounds and Nu Generation Sounds.
DJ Tero, the winner earned himself a monetary prize of three thousand dollars along with an Angostura contract.
While Selector Purple earned Second place. He will be received $1500 and AkaiiUSweet earned himself a $1000 for his third place finish.
DJ Tero and Selector Purple will each feature on one of the St. Kitts Music Festival nights. The Festival runs from the 27th of June to July 1st.
The final results were as follows:
