Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 6, 2018 – A Chinese supermarket owner was shot during an armed robbery Sunday night in Old Road, six miles west of Basseterre.
According to reports, the man, whose name was not disclosed sustained a gunshot wound to a leg and was rushed to the J. N. France General Hospital by the Emergency Medical Services.
It was not immediately clear if a lone gunman was involved and if money was taken from the supermarket located on the main road opposite the Methodist Church.
