Anguilla captured their 10th LIDC title last night in Montserrat.
The duo of Samesha Connor and Josani Gumbs were victorious in the final of the Leeward Islands Debating Competition held last night in Montserrat.
Team Anguilla delivered their arguments with more confidence and won the approval of the judges. They gained a total of 610 points out of a possible (780 points) while team Nevis secured 559 points.
Anguilla opposed the moot:
The prevalence of chronic diseases, supersedes unemployment as a significant hindrance to Caribbean development.
Team Nevis was represented by Miss Ersha Stapleton and Brian Dore.
