Derrick Hazel-Garvey has been convicted and fined of the offences of Battery on Police, Threatening Language, Resisting Arrest, and Armed with an Offensive Weapon.

The offences were committed on May 17th, 2025.

On August 24th, 2026, at the Magistrate’s Court in Sandy Point, St. Kitts, presided over by Her Honour Mrs Karen Hill-Hector, Mr Hazel-Garvey was convicted and fined three hundred dollars (XCD $300) on each count, resulting in a total of one thousand two hundred dollars (XCD $1,200) which is to be paid by September 24th, 2026. Should he default, Mr Hazel-Garvey would serve thirty (30) days’ imprisonment on each count.
