Gun Violence: 3 murders in the last 15 days

The streets are bloody – Another family is mourning the loss of a loved one. Two fatal shootings in less than 48 hours.

The authorities are investigating another homicide, the third fatal shooting for April. 

At 6:49 a.m. this morning, police confirmed that a young man was fatally shot at a nightclub in Lime Kiln.

While an investigation has been launched, it is still in its early stages. Up to press time, the victim has not yet been formally identified.

This latest incident follows a separate shooting in Ottley’s Village on Saturday morning which occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

On April 5th, Jermaine ‘Chubby’ Clarke was also gunned down. Clarke, the lead singer of the Kollision Band, was shot in Keys Village.

St Kitts and Nevis’ murder toll now stands at four.





Police say further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
