Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 26, 2017 – The recent spate of criminal activities are a serious cause of concern for the Federation as reports of SKN’s 22nd murder was recorded on St. Kitts last night, (Saturday, November 25).
According to reports, gunshots were heard in the vicinity of the Dr. William Connor Primary School after 10 pm.
While details are sketchy, the victim was said to be lying down motionless on the ground and has died of gunshot wounds to the upper body.
This is the Federation’s 22nd murder for the year and comes one week after the killing of a 56-year-old Nevis businessman, who was found shot to death on Friday 17th November in Zetlands Village, Gingerland, Nevis.
Investigations into the recent homicide are currently ongoing.
