Youth And Sports Eagles Basketball Club successful in Diker March Madness Basketball Tournament
The Youth and Sports Eagles Basketball Club received a warm welcome home after winning the Diker March Madness Basketball Tournament in St. Eustatius.
The team was greeted by Principal Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Jamir Claxton, and Acting Director of Sports, Aljay Newton.

Participating teams from St. Eustatius, as well as St. Maarten, Nevis, St. Kitts and Tortola battled for bragging rights from February 27th to March 2nd.
In the grand finals, the Youth and Sports Eagles defeated the St. Kitts team by a forty point margin, final score, 101 to 61. Cheslyn Hutton was named the Most Valuable Player in the senior tournament.
The junior team from Youth and Sports Eagles also participated in a separate tournament but narrowly missed out on making it to the finals.
