An electrifying finish by Machel Cedenio secured first position as T&T’s 4x400m relay team won gold medal at the IAAF World Relays in Yokohama, Japan on Sunday.

With the Americans leading by quite a distance, Cedenio pressed the gas in an epic finish. He just managed to nick Paul Dedewo, who fell at the finish.

America was later disqualfied for a lane infringement.

The Trinidad and Tobago quartet of Deon Lendore, Asa Guevara, Jereem Richards and Machel Cendenio clocked a World Leading time of 3:00.81.
