Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 6, 2018 – A man who pulled off the road in his his pickup to rest was beaten and robbed Friday night in Basseterre.

“I got robbed and beaten by two assailants who smashed the pickup glass. I fought with them, but it wasn’t enough and so they got the better part of me,” Glenroy Nisbett, also known as “Pepper” informed his friends with accompanying photos.

“Am in a lot of mouth pain, but I’ll be OK. Gonna tough it out. Just left from the hospital with two stitches in my upper lip. This ain’t no good feeling at all. This place has gone mad! Headache was too much for me to drive,” said Nisbett, who also posted: “This happened up East Street where I pulled off the road because of fatigue and headache. Didn’t eat anything during the day time.”
