Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 26, 2017 (SKN PULSE): The Royal Saint Christopher and Nevis Police Force are investigating the shooting death of Theon Audain which occurred last night, (Saturday 25th November) at the junction of Wigley Avenue and Union Street.
According to a communique issued by the Police Public Relations Unit, the incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m.
The released stated that “Twenty-seven-year-old Theon Audain was standing on the corner, close to Tony Berry’s Shop, where a carnival troupe was being launched”.
It was at that location an assailant or some assailants fired numerous shots at him. Audain was struck multiple times about the body and died at the scene”. Dr. Reginald O’Loughlin was summoned to the scene where he pronounced the victim dead.
Investigators processed the scene and took items of evidential value.
Presently, three juveniles are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
