The St Kitts and Nevis National Football Team returned home after their exit from the CONCACAF Gold Cup Group Stage.
The team arrived earlier today (July 05) at the Kayan Jet Lounge at the Robert L. International Airport, where an official welcome ceremony was held.
Minister with responsibility for Sports, Hon. Samal Duggins, Ambassador for Sports, Kenneth Douglas and President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association, Mr. Atiba Harris, as well as other senior government officials were present at today’s welcome ceremony.
The Sugar Boyz were congratulated on their historic participation in the tournament, (first time Gold Cup qualification).
The CONCACAF Gold Cup Tournament began on June 24 and is scheduled to conclude on July 16, 2023.
