St. Kitts has recorded two victories in the Leeward Islands Cricket Board (LICB) 50 overs competition with their latest triumph, a 7 wicket victory, coming against Montserrat on Friday, (21st September).

Playing at Salem Park, St. Kitts won the toss and opted to field, Monsterrat amassed 158 all out.

Bowling for St. Kitts, Louis picked up 3 wickets for 24 runs, Sheeno Berridge bagged 4 wickets for 30 runs and Miguel Smith bagged 2 wickets. Louis and Berridge got high commendations from the commentator(s), who expressed, “they bowled excellently”. They said, “seam bowling with some class from two bowlers.

St. Kitts reached their target with plenty overs to spare. While they lost early wickets, Terance Warde scored his first half century of the tournament while featuring in a partnership with Clarke as they guided their team to victory. Batting for St. Kitts: Louis contributed 26, Audain 1, Saunders 41 Terance Warde 55 not out and Clarke 25 not out.

St. Kitts won by 7 wickets.

St. Kitts engages Nevis later today at Little Bay, Montserrat.
