Special Worship Service on Sunday marked Dr. Douglas’ 29th Anniversary as a Parliamentarian

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 24, 2018 – Residents and constituents of St. Christopher 6 (Newton Ground to Harris’), worshipped on Sunday 24th March at a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate the 29th Anniversary of The Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas as their Parliamentary Representative.

The service which was in observance of the 29th year since his first election to Parliament began at 10 (a.m) at the Wesleyan Holiness Church on Main Street in St. Paul’s, Dr. Douglas’ hometown.

The service was dubbed a “A legacy of dynamic and visionary leadership at Constituency, National, Regional and International levels,”. Such was penned by a member of the Constituency branch of #6 for the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party, (SKNLP).

Douglas was first elected on March 21, 1989 and has been re-elected in general elections held in 1993, 1995, 2000, 2004, 2010 and 2015.
