SKNFA Executive sanctions two national football players

SKNFA,  Tuesday 6, December 2016 – ​The Executive Body of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has communicated disciplinary measures to two national players who became embroiled in an on-field argument and other misconduct during the Round 3 match of the 2016 CFU Scotiabank Caribbean Cup match against Team Haiti.

The players involved are Jason St. Juste and Julani Archibald. Both players were on the senior men’s National Football Team that played against Haiti at Warner Park on Sunday, 13th November.

Following establish procedures that provide for due process, the following sanctions have been imposed:

Julani Archibald

  1. Received a six-match suspension from participation in St. Kitts-Nevis Senior Men’s Team competition
  2. Instructed to attend anger management counseling and to submit report from counselor documenting attendance and progress with anger issues.
  3. To submit a letter of apology to the SKNFA, coaches, teammates and patrons for his actions


Jason St. Juste

  1. Received a two-match suspension from participation in St. Kitts-Nevis Senior Men’s Team competition (The automatic one-match suspension for receiving a Red Card will be counted as one match served)
  2. To submit a letter of apology to the SKNFA, coaches, teammates and patrons for his actions.

The SKNFA Executive reiterates its disappointment with the behaviour of the players involved and hopes the period of the sanctions will serve as opportunities for introspection by the players.
