[Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis] — The St. Kitts Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (SKNABA) is delighted to announce a groundbreaking achievement in the history of basketball in St. Kitts and Nevis. After successfully hosting a series of FIBA 3×3 style exhibition tournaments at Basketball City throughout the month of September, our national federation is now eligible to participate with its 3×3 national teams in any FIBA 3×3 Official National Team Competitions in 2024.
Each Saturday afternoon in September, the development squad for the National U25
team, who are also registered FIBA 3×3 players, competed in exhibition tournaments.
These events have served as an exceptional platform for the development of players’ skills, the promotion of 3×3 basketball, and as a foundation for international competition. The group was split into four teams: DUKE X, the winner of two
tournaments, KANSAS X; who also won a tournament, UCONN X, and MIAMI X.
“This is a truly historic and momentous occasion for basketball in St. Kitts and Nevis,” said Glenville Jeffers, President of SKNABA. “It represents a significant milestone not only for our players but for our community, and it positions us in the global basketball landscape. Our commitment to this fast-paced, exciting format of the game will continue to grow, and we look forward to representing our country at the international level.”

Building on this remarkable achievement, SKNABA is thrilled to announce that it will be hosting a National 3×3 event in October. This event will be open to the basketball community over the age of 18.
Registration Cost: $80 per team
