Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis – May 12, 2025: Rising Optimist sailor Greyson Burrell has departed St. Kitts and Nevis for St. Barthélemy (St. Barths), where he will participate in the prestigious St. Barths Mini Bucket Clinic and Regatta as part of his ongoing international sailing development campaign.
Greyson traveled on Saturday, May 9, accompanied by his mother and the Vice Commodore of the St. Kitts Yacht Club. The training clinic is scheduled for May 10–13, followed by the regatta from May 14–17, bringing together talented young sailors from across the region for high-level competition and training.
This event marks another important milestone in Greyson’s preparation for the 2025 Optimist North American Championship in Halifax, Canada, where he will proudly represent St. Kitts and Nevis on the international stage.
Greyson’s participation reflects the continued growth and progress of youth sailing within the Federation and highlights the increasing presence of St. Kitts and Nevis sailors in regional and international competition.
