The Authorities are probing another shooting incident in the Federation as gun crime continues to rise.
The shooting incident occurred yesterday (June 22) between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in Conaree.
19-year-old Ajani Evans of Conaree was working at GLO Car Wash, when he was accosted by an armed assailant who fired a shot that struck him in the region of his abdomen.
Evans was rushed to the Joseph N France Hospital in a private vehicle where he underwent emergency surgery. He is said to be warded there in stable condition.
Personnel from the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected items of evidential value.
Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
