A new Soca Monarch was crowned on Friday night. Rucas H.E sang a track entitled, ‘Good Vybz’ lyrics.
Carnival City was the hub activity on Friday, (21/12/2018) as 11 other artistes vied for the coveted title.
At the end of the night, Rucas emerged victorious as he amassed 373 points.
Barry C, Mr. Hype and KO were the other top finishers. Totalling 357 points, Barry C placed 1st runner-up.
Former Monarch, Mr. Hype wasn’t successful in his defence but earned 2nd runner-up honours with a total of 354 points while KO place third runner-up with 335 points.
