SKN PULSE, Tuesday 3, January 2016 – Early this morning, the official page of the Sugar Mas 45 Carnival commitee released the results for Street Activities. The winners were judged during the Jouvert morning jump-up and the Grand parade day.
The Grand Masters band has been crowned the new 2016-2017 Road March Champions for Sugar Mas 45 with the song ‘Wuk U Shift’.
Four time road march champions, Small Axe were finally dethroned as they sought to go for a five peat with their hit song, ‘Man A Warrior’. Small Axe Band won the best sounding band award.
The best Jouvert troupe went to Red Devils’ who amassed a total of 248.5 points. Mandika Warriors and Xtreme Jouvert troupes placed second and third respectively.
