Antiguan and Leeward Island off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall continues to make a name for himself with his maiden 5-wicket haul doing duties for West Indies in India.

Cornwall bagged 7/75 against Afghanistan in the only Test at Lucknow to register the best bowling figures in India for 2019.

Electing to bowl first, Afghanistan were bowled out at their adopted ‘home’ venue for were 187.

Cornwall returned 7/75 as he ran through the Afghanistan batting line up. Holder picked up two wickets while Jomel Warrican bagged one wicket.

His effort was also the best first-innings figures for any West Indian spinner since Jack Noregia, who took 9 for 95 against India 48 years ago.
