Police officer held for questioning on alleged rape charge

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 21ST 2017 – A male officer of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has been taken into custody.

Informed sources said the officer, whose name is being withheld pending an official statement from the police, was picked up following an allegation of rape.

The female made a formal complaint to the police following the alleged incident which took place overnight.
